My two penny worth - as usual... :-)

As anyone who's checked will know our website is comprehensive. That's cost whilst not being a web guru, I've sussed out enough to be able to add new pages to the menus and stuff so every time we come up with useful info, we add a page. We're currently adding to the local restaurant reviews.

Many folk have said, what a useful site!

BUT

To the best of my knowledge we have not had one single "direct hit". Despite the fact taht we *do* come up in google et al. ALL our bookings have come via people who FIRST found out about us from a gite advertising site.

The main site we advertise on is http://www.cheznous.co.uk/ , though we've also had enquiries via http://www.frenchentree.com and http://www.click4holidayhomes.com . (We're always beign bombarded with ads for new sites. We tend to try out any that have a free trial period!)

BUT i also have to say that about 1/3rd of this years bookings come from our advert in Chez Nous' companion *printed* catalog. That costs extra of course - in our opinion it's worth it. Some of the folk who booked via the book never visited our site *at all*.
